Alexandra started running track and field in high school. She aimed to get a full-ride scholarship to a Division One school. After a successful high school career competing in the hurdles, she signed to the University of Oregon. Later, she entered the portal and received a full-ride scholarship to Florida State University. This book has loads of advice about the complexity of the recruiting process and the steps necessary to receive a Division One offer from college coaches.
